    repair question

    Mike & Mario weigh in please need to know if I can braze or weld a pin hole in my AC Condenser. I Nicked it Click image for larger version.

ID:	2799while using a cutting wheel on my drill, lost all my freon, I started my little homemade forced air intake project. Thanks guys I wanted to punch myself in the face LOL, I'll send pics of the entire process as it progresses.

    A good radiator shop should be able to do it. With the thin materials I wouldn't attempt it at home.

    yeah My mechanic said they don't weld AC Condensers I have to buy a new unit- a $550.00 mistake with 3 hr labor charge.I hate myself right now!

    Try a welding shop that tig welds.

    Thing is my mechanic is awesome trustworthy Guy who stands behind his work so if he says no to welding I trust his judgment.

    If anyone's interested I'm building one for my 00 Camaro similar to Vararam design. Here's the link to the guy that originally designed one. **Mine will be similar but with different components that won't encourage heat soak. I'll post pics when I begin, all the items needed can be purchased at Home Depot, Lowes etc. This guy did a really good job.
