In an attempt to get back to civilization I deleted a thread in hopes that we could get back to this sites focus racing.
You see in the begining it was what this site was all about. It looked promising as an avenue for racres to voice their opinions and ideas about racing and how to band TOGETHER to maybe get racing back, but somehow became well something else to be civil about it.
I see everyone as equal here if you've done stuff went out of your way well good for you and I sincerly apperciate your efforts as everyone here should, but if your just here to be in the know and share your ideas an opinions I think that's great too.But I see each one as equal.
Each one of us is in the end one vote and every vote is counted the same.I don't care about your race, religion, point of origin,(I do have issue with legal status)we all have our quirks,All I cared about was that I could band together with like minded people to try and bring about change here when it came to the sport of drag racing and maybe keep a few kids from getting busted up from wrecks street racing as I did when I was young or worse dying or killing someone as I did,you can trust me that is a memory that wount go away, and I hope by printing this it will make you think the next time you take to the streets. It can happen to you in the blink of an eye and once it does there is no changing the outcome.Nobody drives that good.It is something that will change you forever and not in a plesant way.It will destroy the lives of one family and take a toll on yours. This and this alone is my motivation for being here and doing what I can to maybe save a life or prevent someone of going through what a 10 year old boys family went through or what my children went through when kids would point at them and say your fathers a murderer because of what I'd done.My son was six at the time and at six that is a lot to deal with. There are many innocent victims ones you wount know unless you've been there and I hope you never are.
It wasn't easy for me to sit here in front of my computer reliving the lowest point in my life it's a moment I really didn't want to share with you but I hope in a way this will bring some civility to this site and maybe help people come together and try to bring back legal safe racing to Long Island. It is a worthy cause to try and save lives. For those of you that think less of me now,I'm beyond that but happy to know I got you thinking.

T Mac it was a beautiful night on 150th st when I watched my friends sister get hit and thrown hundreds of feet, and Die! wasn't a racer, it was a DD flying thru went up the curb and killed her, that was the accident that started the new law on street racing. With that law we thought it might be easier to get FBF open to some use...it didn't, a friends sister was killed and all a friend of the family (queens DA) did was make a law, nothing to help the problem or learn from it. Hiding that event of your life to me is worse then constantly speaking about it to gain positives.

Street racing will always have its place, just the way it is.

For some its a lifestyle.
