Would the members here be interested in setting up groups within the membership for the purpose of getting the word out,meetings on a local level to share ideas face to face?We could district it up into north an south shores east,west,Nassau,Suffolk.All in an attempt to organize on a local level,to press your local politicians and communities for support.Each district should have a leader and a few people to help out with the local CHAPTER workings.Each chapter selects its own captians and crew and at different times the district leaders meet to mull out the concerns victories or club business.Maybe if we dealt locally with people we know we could increase our membership and accomplish our goal.I still think we need a shirt sticker or something to show we're members of the one club,but each chapter could have something unique to desiginate their local.Just a thought is anybody interested?What we want takes work and dedication,but it could be a good excuse to get out of the house and have some fun.

sounds like a different idea, why not couldnt hurt anything. have different chapters so if we go to car shows etc, a certain section can rep for it.

Exactly and not one person would be over burdened trying to hit all the shows.
I guess we should agree on how we should spilt it up and people in those areas can appoint themselves if they feel they have the spare time.
Find the clubs in your area,approach them do shows,swaps,benefits,town festivals whatever.
Find out who all your local politicians are and reach out to them,in writting or in person.
If you guys have any other ideas post them.

doing different sections...i know mikelbeck is out in coram and so am i, tmac your close in patchogue correct? we could do it into counties or by exits something....i go to a lot of shows all over the place normally...but working in brooklyn now restricts my schedule, but i ill try my best. so lets get something going.

Im in but not getting naked..... sorry. I even keep the lights off when I get dressed at home it is just too depressing...
