Think about why several highways have no guard rails to protect you from hitting a tree....
They have been this way since they were built... They have been notified of the danger of having such speeds and trees in close proximity...

Yet they do nothing! it's easier to pass a law and if you get caught! you lose!

Far many more people have died from sliding off of highways for many reasons with no guard rail or other preventive barrier then street racing...
