Isn't it funny how Riverhead Raceway doesn't list the prices of the regular admission tickets.

Actually I heard they adjust the price depending on the event and how many people they think are going to attend. Just what I heard, could be wrong.

It does vary. Most regular shows used to be $20. When the WMT comes to town (first weekend in August)the price is usually much higher (30 or 35 I cannot recall from last year)

thats a lil F-ed up if you ask me. at least post the price and then post prices for the "special events" What if theres you, your wife, and 3 kids. Would be nice to know how much before you get there big difference from $100.00 @ $20 per and $175.00 @ $35 per

Which is why I hardly attend anymore. For almost the same money I can go to a Saturday night show at Mahoning Valley, eat great food, and have a great time. The Riverhead experience is, well, unique. The 3 plus hour drive (each way)to Mahoning is a minor inconvenience compared to the feeling of the 30 minute drive home from the 'head.

I have competed there as well. And have been a spectator there for over thirty years. And as a spectator, I feel my money is better spent elsewhere most of the time. I will still attend for things that interest me (distance races for BB and the WMT) only though. And since I'm not helping anyone out these days, the interest just isn't there that much.
Just sayin'.

Plain and simple, if I drop that much coin I want to have a really good time.
I could have a beach party with the works for that.
I still want to go and watch Spikey race.

Supposedly the favoritism bs is out this year.....

So that means real racing again...... We'll see though...lets just say this isn't the 1st time such a thing has been said

We've been there for the two practices already this year and i've heard that that hasn't changed much.

Is there even a turnout? Any fans?

We'll have to see if the stewards will really ignore the interference on the radio...practice isn't the same as what happens on raceday...

With the 00 incident saturday night it already seems to appear to be true.
