I put this out there on www.northeastbracketracing.com but we don't get to much activity there any more.

So off the track how do you guys improve your bracket racing? Often times driving on the highway I will pick a slower of faster car and visually judging the closing rate pick a finish line then tighten up the win or slow up once they can’t scub ET, not that they would, they normally don’t even know they were racing, yet just lost.

So what do you guys do? Do you practice driving straight looking out the side window?

Thats good a practice routine. I use a practice tree, which does help, but it doesn't translate 100% to the on track reality. There are so many variables that its impossible , sometimes, to tell which variable caused your time slip ro be what it is. Other than that I analyze my time slips over and over and over and over.

I work on my lights when sitting at a stop light. Keep my left foot on the brake, and give it a little gas... Then when the light turns green I get off the brake and then onto the gas. I never know what my lights are, though. ;-)

all of the above:D,But when I was constantly using the practice tree my R/T at the track got worse(I have no idea why)so I only use it once in a while.
