The "feedback" was entertaining. So if I'm understanding this correctly a "club" is going to spend money they don't actually have yet to hire foreigners to tell us what we need to do to fix Long Island. I'm not surprised. I guess us bumpkins just aren't nearly as smart as those city folks.....

With the planning director being a former E. Hampton director Lisa Liquori we mine as well move to Jersey.This will become NIMBY paridse with pinache.Why can't Long Islanders decide by vote what to do rather than some upper crusty tell us how we should live.Who pays for the study,we do.

Ain't that the truth.Everybody should grieve their property taxes.Send a message.If we ain't gonna get it we shouldn't pay for someone elses way of life.I grieved my taxes last year got reduced $2,200.00.Your homes are worth less this year.I'm gonna do it again.

From what I know, they group a bunch of props together and get them reduced by a certain percent. Sounds like they should come by your house, might be able to pull the city out of debt with all the illeagle shit you got going on Nova

I used a guy named Mark Lewis.He charged $75.00 for appraisal which they did by researching area and a drive by of the house.The catch is you have to pay half of what he gets reduced,but if he feels he can't get a reduction you only pay the $75.00.Must apply before May 1st.Lots of people do this usually you get stuff in the mail.They all charge about the same.

I get letters in the mail all the time , I have one right now that charges 30.00 filling fee only if they feel they could reduce the taxes, and then like you say 50 percent of the savings. must submit by Jan 29 09 for the dead line is as of March 1 2009

Actually Mark Lewis did my grievance on the house my ex and kids live in. (no my grievance was not that she still lives there on my dime...) There is no upfront fee, you only pay if he gets you a reduction. Check him out, I'm a satisfied customer.
