From the information I get from the Internet is that the Brookhaven Civic Assoc. has the final say on what Suffolk County proposed?

Is that true?

If it is true can we work together with Brookhaven Civic Assoc. to have then relook at the proposal?

It is county land, yet with few exceptions they need to abide by local zoning/code. I remember Jim Morgo saying that at some function I attended. The property is partially South Country and Longwood School Districts (as well as fire and ambulance) but entirely in Brookhaven Town. The concern of local ambulance and fire response/capacity was brought up at the Bellport High School "presentation" thing.
I still haven't a clue as to what Levy is going to chat about. I'm going to inquire through the ABCO page and see what they say.

With Foley out and off to Albany Brookhaven has named Lori Baldassre acting Supervisor from Jan 2009 - March 2009.

Lori was Foley's Chief of Staff.

A special election will be held in March 2009 to replace Foley.

Who is in the running for Brookhaven Supervisor?

Now is the time for Brookhaven residents who favor the Motorsports Park to vote in a Supervisor who approves the Motorsports Park also.

What can we do as part of LIMA to spread the word out on who to vote for?

Maybe Levy is going to speak on who he wants to replace Foley.

foley was supposed to be for us... then he made a statement he was doing whatever levy wanted to do as for rezoning for yaphank....
