Anybody familiar with this tranny.I'm looking at a car with one in it which the guy shifts mannually.He got the car this way and says he hasn't had a problem with it.The fluid smelled okay and looked clean,remote filter and cooler,shifts hard like a tranny with a kit or one lacking a modulator.How can you tell the difference?No computer in car,early model.The car pulled real strong 450hp motor and was sideways through two gears from a roll.

I'm not sure exactly what your question was. How to tell If it has a shift kit or no modulator? It could have a fully manual valve body.

That is the Question kit or manual without going inside is there any telltail things to look for plugged ports or the like.It isn't a reverse pattern.

they dont have to be reverse pattern to have a manual valve body
