That is one of many sponsor to be leaving. In is this great economy we are in today, let's face it Nascar has become an expensive luxury. That being said the PGA sponsors are not knocking the world dead either. It has become the kiss of death to any financial institution that has sponsored the PGA or LPGA, i.e. AIG, Wachovia, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, and Washington Mutual just to name a few.:sign5:

you know what i hate about NASCAR, it is all really expensive, corporate backed cars racing. interesting yes, fun, maybe. But there's no Sport like Drag racing. You can't go to Daytona and pay $75.00 and race around the oval. Yet you can take your daily driver mustang or whatever, pay $75.00 or less and run it down the same track John Force and all your other favorite racers ran a national event on two days earlier. No other sport can you "play" on the same "field" as some of your heroes.

I'm def. a fan of nhra..and drag racing...i prefer it...im not into watching a 500 lap race...but @ RR its only 50 laps...so what the hell..and at this point...its a chance to do what i LOVE race.

Sponsors I need sponsors I have three so far. The more the merrier!

there are some tracks that let you go on charlette is one for instance and there are a few more. Its sponcered by the goodguys rod and custom assoc at some of thier events. As a matter of fact its on this very week every year. Though you really cant race side by side they will let you bring it up over 100mph on the track

I don't even want to mention what my girlfriend paid for me to take 8 laps at Pocono. It was awesome, don't get me wrong. I had a great time. Just not something I would have done for myself that's for sure.

your right on that , rr is probably way to small of a track for nascar. I do belive some drivers might have begun there and worked thier way up, to the big tracks.

nah I snowmobiled in vermont....w didn't have consistnt snow in ri...vt was more snowww longer. we built a house up there....a log onee....not only am I a motorhead but I can polyurthaine wood...I can put a tile floor...hardwood floor radiant heat lol....landscaping lol oh I cook too lol
