A bunch of us from LIDR and LIMA have been going down to the parking lot in Patchogue (near Sunrise Highway) where the Home Depot used to be - Chucky Cheese is there now - to show off our cars, bench race and shoot the breeze. We've been doing this for the last few Saturdays, we'll be doing it again this coming Saturday.
People start rolling in around 5 PM and stay until 10 or 11. Lots of cars, lots of people. Come on down and make it a good time!
Of course, be a good citizen... no burnouts or ripping through the parking lot. If all we do is hang out and act civilized there's no reason for anybody to get bent out of shape about it. So maybe by the summer we can have a big cruise night happening!
