Who's going tomorrow night? My wife is going out with one of her friends, I'll probably pop in with my kid.

I should have some "Long Island Drag Racing" T-shirts made up. ;-)

No new flyers, no t-shirts (yet).

I need somebody who can do a design to make up a logo or design for some t-shirts and I'll have them made up. I don't have the kind of skill required to do that, I can barely draw stick figures. ;-)

Gah... My wife's cousin was in a motorcycle accident this morning, I'm driving his wife to the hospital in PA. Leaving in about 10 minutes.

So you won't be seeing me in Patchogue tonight. :-(

Somebody take pictures so those of us who can't make it can see how to went.

I stayed home. Between family and sprinkles and no 'net at home, I guess I made the wrong call. Weather permitting I'll prolly be out next Saturday.

I went by on Sunrise around 6:00 & again around 8:00 just passing by picking up and bringing my parents home after dinner only a few cars there Betcha was one of them.The weather was kind of dreary could have been a factor.By the time I got there around 9:00 the only guy there was a cop.He said it would be no problem going there in the area off to the side as long as it's kept peaceful.We got to give it time.I'll be there next week with my bike.

What am I,? WOOD? where do you think the LIMA and NO LEVI shirts came from/ OY , I am on it, but Ill be at Barter Town this weekend.

Quick draft, needs clean up, filtering, remove water, I only do 3 color max. Flags represent former tracks, lemon and lime on ice gray tee.

Have fun at the "event" this weekend. My oldest wants to "ride" at some place in NYC Sunday (the Brooklyn Banks ?) so I won't be able to be in two places at once.

I like the idea of black shirts too. Hides the dirt (and grease) better than grey. ;-)

And that design doesn't really say "drag racing" to me. There's no flags in drag racing (except for on the sides of late 60's Chevys). Don's suggestion of a Christmas tree sounds nice to me.

Don't get me wrong FF - I greatly appreciate the fact that you can do this - I just want to make sure we come up with a design that everybody's gonna love so we can get every single member of this site to wear one every day. Well, maybe not every day, but you get the idea. And I didn't know you made those other shirts. My bad for not paying attention. ;-)

New spot is getting a slow start but its only two weeks old and last week was rainy.
Really nice out today,ill be there around 5pm.

I can't tonight, i have dinner plans.. but I know it's there.. and It will def. be a place i go to every week. I have a feeling this spot will grow to huge proportions by the end of the summer. :)

Well,much better showing today.Alot of people showed late and we were down there untill like 10pm.
People were coming and going and at first it looked like a light showing but then people started rolling in.
It was good seeing you guys that did show.
I think this is going to take off real soon.

Some people showed real late.What time did you leave?
The monte club roled in,a bunch of camaro club cars came in late,and a bunch of mustang club guys came late.We were there untill 10pm.
Still not a big/huge show but at the peak,we prob had a good 20-30 cars.
Could not believe some people didnt come down untill 8-9pm.

You cant expect a huge show when it just started.People are still spreading the word.

Next time I'm gonna leave my kid home. I was hoping on hanging around until 8 or 9, but he started getting funky around 7, but 7:30 he was starting to take the inside of my truck apart...

Nice meeting you guys, glad to see it's starting to get bigger. I'll post the pictures I took later on today.

Barter Town went well, moved alot of my vintage stock,
The nostalgia "CONNECTING HIGHWAY" shirts were sold out by noon on friday.
I'll do some drafts on the LIDR shirts this week based on your inputs, Joey

Unofortunately for me to make this will be few and far in between. I work six days a week and I do not get home until 5:30 Saturdays which is not the problem.The problem for me is the wife! Something about not seeing me and that whole quality time thing and yada yada. But I hope it grows, I have put the word out in the Friday night Bellmore group which I do have clearance for.

I got there around 8. There were still a few (20) cars and folks around. The time thing is tough for me too. Lots of directions I get pulled in on Saturdays, everyone needs a little time. Plus my rust looks better in the dark, it almost shines!

I'm gonna try... my son has some sort of respistory ailment, we're gonna be up all night with him tonight - he needs meds every 4 hours - then to the doc in the am. If he's ok tomorrow morning then I'll be there tomorrow night. Otherwise... I won't.

He's been feeling fine the whole time, just doing a lot of coughing. The doc yesterday said his oxygen level was low so they freaked and started treating him... he was good overnight, we're taking him back to the doc in a little while so we'll see.

We repaced the carpets in our house and it went away.

Alot of alergies, we put in wood floors and a hepa system for the ac/heating.
Things improved right away.

It came on really quick, first thought it was strep. After 2 trips to the hospital it was like WTF? I hired a firm in NYC to take some tests and got bad results. It amazed me since my wife keeps the house spotless, I sometimes feel like I live in a musem. Kids can grow out of it to I was told.

Also,there is a group of guys going down to the home depot lot where we gather to clean up the lot on tuesday.Ill post back with a time if anyone wants to lend a hand.
