A tough competitor indeed. I was friendly with his bottom end guy and got to meet him in '92.
Funny thing, during the Houston broadcast Sunday, Force was featured giving recollections and mentioned after the big fire at Gainesville Hofmann shooing hiom away from the TV camera. Riiiight. Seems "someone" did the same thing to Hofmann at Memphis after he "saw Elvis at 1000' ". Amazing how that works...
