I had big plans this winter, but really didn't get around to doing any of them.
I wanted to replace my windows with Lexan or Poly, didn't do that.
I wanted to replace the 8-1/4 rear with an 8-3/4, Dana 60, 9" or something similar (stronger than the 8-1/4). Didn't do that.
I was going to swap my iron "X" heads for aluminums, but the Edelbrocks would've cost a whole lot and not given me much performance, and the Indy heads - or the Indy Edelbrocks (IndyBrocks) are way too expensive. I've been speaking with Bobby at BJR racing down in Atlanta about doing some work to my iron heads, he said that it looks like there's more power to be had from them. So this week I pulled the top of the motor apart, hopefully I'll have the heads off this weekend and ready to ship. Once I get them back I'm gonna ditch the Performer RPM (dual plane) for a Victor or Mopar M1 single plane.
The last thing I've got to do it put a real exhaust on the car, Pinks won't let me run with bullet mufflers. So I've got to get around to ordering that.
I'd really like to have it done and tested before the Mopar Nationals May 17/18 at E-Town.
