Alright, I like doing things myself, but sometimes a better and more importantly a quicker job can be done by hiring a professional.

I'm looking for someone to wire my car, lights, wipers, dash, the whole nine yards. Anyone have anyone they recommend??

Do you want to reinstall the dashboard or are you going to "simplify" things? The reason I ask is 'cus there are kits from companies like Painless that might help.

Looking to put the dash back in, since we don't have a track here on LI, I want to be able to drive it and use it some.

The heats gone, no stereo and the ignition and charging system is not stock, so I want to cut all that at of the factory harness. I figured I'd use the factory harness for the lights (headlights, taillights and blinkers) and the dash, then work in the new stuff (MSD ignition, GM 10SI alt and electric fans and pumps). And of course all that has to work with the NHRA cutoff switch...

It sounds like a formidable, yet doable project. If the harnesses are already unwrapped and you have a color code chart (I think you can find them in the Mitchell books) and no interuptions, a day or two sounds about right. Or is time an issue?

Did you think about using an aftermarket harness? Painless Wiring has some really good stuff, easy to install and really good docs.
