I'm planning on putting "www.lidragracing.com" on my car, probably across the windshield. And if I can get 84 Lumber to put up some money again we'll probably be wearing our "Burwood Boys Racing/84 Lumber" racing shirts.

I made it in to pinks all out and one of my friends made it on with his monza. They called me Monday night but I was in bed. They called me tuesday morning and it was a pretty simple interview process. My friend was called on Wednesday. The funny part is I sent his info in a hair second before mine that night. Looks like long island will be represented well. I am still not sure if it is a one day or two day event, because when I went onto the pinks website it shows it on a saturday with sunday as the raindate.:3gears:

Friday is used for time shots, to get a data base from which they will pull the group that will be involved in the filming,

From what I read over at sbp, they used some sort of email selection based on time of submission or some such. They have not picked alternates yet and they need 100 of them, so don't give up just yet.

The counter on etown website was a minute fast. It went off a 12:00 midnight not 12:01 so maybe your were a minute early. I did not pickup on that until about a half and hour before the event.

I have not given up, just messes me up when I sent the mail at the end of the count down + 3 seconds.... A friend of mine sent his at 20 mins after and he was called already. So it leads me to believe that they are not abiding by their own rules of the first 400 in order they came in.

But what will be will be, if I am not there I will be at super chevy the week before.

Andy i'm 95% sure me and the old man are bringing our cars to Super Chevy as well. ^0 or so dollars for 3 days of racing, Whats better then that!:3gears:

same hear no call, maybe they are picking high 11 or 12 sec cars no low 11 or 10 sec cars.. who knows..

I run 9.50's and I got called.

Just my opinion , but why do they bother to make you guy's e-mail them with your times and stuff and then decide what class there gonna run...

Why don't they go thru all the e-mail see which class of cars is the biggest at those times and then choose the field instead of making a lot of people waste there time going down there for 1 or 2 passes and then they choose a field that had nothing to do with you....

These guy's are like dealing with politicians...wtf what's with wasting peoples time.

I didn't even bother trying just because i didn't want to just drive around the trailer.

Andy,Nick Fusco hit the same deal you did too.
I think as many members that can should go with t-shirts from LIMA on maybe get some air time for the cause.

t-shirt that says Englishtown fixed the pinks registration. The first 200 people that used the countdown tree on their website never had a chance to get into pinks....if you used their counter you red lighted. Thats ok my car has never set foot on englishtown pavement and probably never will! I hate that place with a passion.

I sat there like putz waiting for some nice lil hello to show up and OON GATZ.
thought there was gonna be some kinda form to fill out, was a lil shady, used the clock on my stove, 12.02, needless to say i'm a bench warmer.

The "other" guy is Michael Beck. His wife has something to do with E-Town, so I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have been allowed to enter.
