Any insight to calico bearings

calico uses acl bearings that they coat in house used them in a couple of engines took one apart after 1000 miles looked like new also had piston skirts coated

Yeah the coated pistons i have used before, i was wondering exactly that though about the bearings who's bearings they were coating?
