Please note that as a lifelong resident of Long Island, I am in full support of any development or project that will revitalize motorsports on a local level, I myself as well as my son are active drag racers, and routinely spend in excess of $20,000 annually pursuing our interest OFF long island, That is a shame as well as in insult to local business.

A resolution was placed in front of the Riverhead Town Board on Tuesday the 29th to direct the town to enter into contract negotiations with the RexCorp/LI Destination Group for them to purchase the land to build EPCAL Centre a 755 acre motorsports themed entertainment destination. The vote is expected to take place within the next week and a half to two weeks. We need 3 yes votes out of the 5 members. PLEASE-PLEASE IMMEDIATELY take 5 minutes to email or call the Riverhead Town Board members below. Tell them you are a local area resident and you fully support the RexCorp/LI Destination Group plan. We lost the Yaphank project because the politicians put blinders on to the public needs. This will not be the case in Riverhead. Please take the time.

The Riverhead Board doesn't officially record emails for their record. Emails don't work. You need to send a letter, even if it's short. See a new thread I started called, write letters now.
