I'm with ya Cowboy,but for a sport that has come such a long way in safety engineering and speed it's still misunderstood or thought of as outlaw.If John Q. Public knew the money involved and made they might think differently,and if they realized the power of cars that are forced to the streets to race they might open their eyes.Nothing like old time drags,the closest thing now is promods.

I agree with you in regards to the safety and speed compared to today's machines. Look at the times of the rails compared to todays top fuel, the only way the new ones run that slow is when they spit a piston or two.
