The other day I was on the strip where the road is real wide.

I saw what looked like a '62 fuel-injected Vette line up against a Super Stock Dodge with a 413. They both took off, the Dodge was ahead and the Vette's wheels were spinning. The Dodge shifted to second and was ahead by a bit. The Vette guy must've been riding the clutch to get some traction as it stopped spinning and started to catch the Dodge.

Who won?

Duh. ;-)

A 1962 Dodge Ramcharger, with a 410 HP 413 ran 13.75 out of the box. A 1962 Corvette with a fuel injected 327 ran 13.89, according to Hot Rod. But in a real street race who would win? The Vette had a stick and having slicks, the Dodge was "winding out in low", would that mean it's an automatic?

So seriously... which car would win?
