Well the Republican party visited the house today, specifically representing Robert DiCarlo, Lou Marcoccia and Betty Manzella, he asked where I stood and I told him to look at my No Motorsports = No Levy sticker on the Jeep.
He asked what exactly I was looking for in a motorsports park (“Nascar?”) and I told him I'm looking for a place to Drag Race. He said the issue with the Top Gun site (his words) was the size. He said it would be a lot easier to get a smaller place Ok'ed, he asked what we needed, and I truthfully told him that I don't care about a national event, yes it would be nice, but I'm manly looking for a weekly bracket place, heck if West Hampton had a decent owner that put some money back into the place I would love to have something like that.
He also asked where I would like to see something like that and stated Yaphank is not a done deal and that that’s where they would like to see something.
Betty Manzella is supposed to get back to me, we'll see and if so I'll pass it on.
