Suffolk Life's editorial board recently had a conversation with Riverhead Town Supervisor Phil Cardinale. Cardinale waxed elegantly about the proposed Riverhead Resort for Riverhead Town.
When we started to press for details, Cardinale became vague. He acknowledged that the 35-story ski mountain may never be built. He didn't seem concerned that the mountain might interfere with aviation, nor was he concerned that a runway built to handle massive jets would have to be destroyed.
