Poll the Politicains The've been polling us long enough

What do you all think about sending a survey to each politician asking them direct yes or no questions in a survey sent to them to fill out and return to us Island wide as our cause is an Island wide delemia.The accompaning letter should state our causes goals and should be ended with this statement.
NO RESPONSE WILL BE CONSIDERED A DOWN VOTE,NO EXCUSES,with a deadline to respond.Here are some sample questions.
1 Do you think there is a place a motorsports park can be built on L.I.?
2 Do you feel L.I. needs a motorsports facility?
3 Would you work with the other governing bodies on L.I. to help in providing such a facility.
4 Do you feel one local municipality should be in sole control of a property formaly paid for by federal tax dollars and given to them with the intent of being used for the good of the county.
5 Do you see it as wrong that said municipality profiteer off of this agreement?
6 Do you feel public opinion should reign as to the use of this property over the financial gain of one township as this property was paid for with federal tax dollars?
Add or delete questions you think don't apply.We should give space for comments at the bottom of the survey.A true opinion pole with hard copy proof.

its a good idea, but I think unless they are in front of you face to face its to easy for them to lie or disagree with us.

You could do it wth a SASE enclosure. It seems pretty straight forward. I wonder how many politicians (local ,county, state) we would need to send it to?

Politicians can lie to you just as well in front of or behind you.The fact that they find it easy to disagree on paper is the exact reason for this.As I have stated in several of my posts elections especially on a local level can be effected by a couple hundred votes or less as most people don't vote.You can effectively control the ones at the top by eliminating their friends at the bottom,and with a hard copy survey you can vote in the ones with us and hold their feet to the fire to accomplish our goal.As far as who,Ny gov,Us senate,congress(even Bishop)and all local pols and candidates.The cover should be from 1 org. and letter headed that way.Orgs speak for thousands while individual letters are 1 voice.With minimal time to do this here's how I think we should proceed.First we need an address for return mail,Shafts, to give our org a location,then we make the survey blunt yes or no as I stated above but all agree on questions(input here)make a cover letter stating our cause and goals so they understand where we're comming from with emphasis on the positives like Marty's speech Sat.and Island wide delemia.set up the papers so they can be down loaded and printed.
Now here's the hard part we will need volunteers from each district Nassau and Suffolk to mail copies to your local pols and candidates this could require an outlay of ten bucks.Most of the work could be done sitting and you don't even have to lick as everything is self stick now,but if you get off on it go for it.Does it seem like a better idea now?:rolleyes::D:cool::mad::confused:

P.S. Just think of all the little civic groups that have been in our way and how the government does nothing about illegal immigration those supporters vote in blocks.Marty has said it thousands of times we could be the biggest org. on L.I.They would listen!
