Riverhead GOP supervisor candidate blasts Calverton ski resort proposal as "snow job"
Opening his campaign with a sharp attack on Riverhead's incumbent Democratic Supervisor Phil Cardinale, Republican James Stark -- himself a former town supervisor -- charged Tuesday that the town board's recent decision to negotiate with Riverhead Resorts to build a billion-dollar theme park in Calverton was "a snow job."
