Mr. Wilcox a boo whooer not a doer. I wrote a nice reply but it wouldn't post. Remind him the track is not going to be placed in Brookhaven looking to Riverhead. Ask him what his solution to our financial problems, and it's PRIVATE INVESTORS with public problems like Mr. Wilcox. and the other visionaries with the blinders on. Their New vision of America has put this country where it is today. WE are old school it's what made us great.

I found the description of his problem:D

Paranoid schizophrenia is a schizophrenia subtype in which the patient has false beliefs (delusions) that somebody or some people are plotting against them or members of their family. People with paranoid schizophrenia, as with most subtypes may also have auditory hallucinations - they hear things that are not real. The individual may also have delusions of personal grandeur - a false belief that they are much greater and more powerful and influential than they really are.

An individual with paranoid schizophrenia may spend an extraordinary amount of time thinking about ways to protect themselves from their persecutors.

Typically, a person with paranoid schizophrenia has fewer problems with memory, dulled emotions and concentration compared to individuals with other subtypes; usually allowing them to think and function more successfully. Nevertheless, paranoid schizophrenia is a chronic (long-term, lifelong) condition which may eventually lead to complications, including suicidal thoughts and behavior.

With proper treatment and support, patients have a very good chance of leading a happy and productive life.

Paranoid schizophrenia is the most common schizophrenia type

boy, that conversation when downhill fast...whats next hair pulling. When a group galvenized by a common cause or devotion is met with the anger, hostile language, and tough talk of investigatory accusations, then shrouds these words as a self proclaimed act of saving the people of long island, the only thing that stinks here is the smell of the burning witches in Salem MA during that notorious ill guided attack on a select group of society, or perhaps of more recent times where races of people were villified to serve the common good. Mr Wilcox is clearly an angry man, and is using the internet as his soapbox to take aim at some because he may have lost the ability to control his own environment. His comments will likely be interpreted by cool and level headed minds as him creating an island of himself thereby isolating himself rather than his comments attemmpts to rally support. leave him be. when it got to the name calling, it became clear the level he wishes to continue the discussion.

Dear Mike, for the hundreath time we are asking to rent or buy the propety. There would be no cost to the taxpayers of Riverhead. As for revenue, it's a proven fact what a motorsports facility would generate. Also the jobs in the automotive industry that would be saved in this economic downturn we in right now. Answer Arts question about what you do (boating, fishing, hunting, ball playing, golf--- all taxpayer subsidised.) And the non profit doesn't matter, we are a group of all motorsport minded people that are trying to get what we like back on the island. There is no hidden agenda, it's all out in the open.

Yeah I gave it to him straight. Nothing makes the haters and bigots stand out quite like some facts and truth. They don't like when you do that. Sort of like the tale of "the emperor's new clothes".

agreed, i do not understand his objection which is grounded on his claim of this movement just being another attempt of an organization looking to acquire public money. private enterprise should be able to act in a just and lawfull manner without bigots or mis-informed nay-sayers spewing accusations of having a hidden agenda to grab public money. I support any effort to construct a track.
