"Pacers debuted the new “CARS Magazine Special” at the opening of Gil Kohn's NY National Speedway on March 20th of 1966 and ran the low ET of the day (7.93 ET@199 MPH) on its first run. Immediately after the event, they brought their fueler into Manhattan to participate in the NY International Auto Show. "

Show I attended last year in West Babylon.
mmhotrod told me last week this year's show is Aug 28th.
This is the same day as the 100 foot drags but most likely will
attend the cacklefeast instead.

I'll attend the Sept 11th 100 Foot Drags.

That slide show is awesome. I wish it was slower between pics. Back in the 80's I remember seeing the tasmanian devil I think come out all sideways off the line all the time. It was flipped out to watch leave at the lights

That was some show you guys put on. I know it brought back memories for alot of people including my father. He remembers sitting at the starting line at national watching nitro burning cars and having his eyes water and throat burning lol.
