Hi, I'm new to the site,I found it as a link from another site and have been poking around here for about an hour & a half and can't believe i havnt found this site sooner. It's great. I still have to edit my profile, but for now i live local to most of the people i've seen on here i live in Mt. Sinai and have been into drag racing since i was real little. my dad raced for years but recently retired from driving, too far to go to E-town @ 65yrs old. but if we had a track here on LI he'd def renew his comp. license. i have a 10 sec. 85 mustang gt that i havnt driven in 2 yrs but hope to have it out this spring. will post some pics as soon as i edit my profile.talk to you soon

Me too, i have always loved the 4 eye cars. there is a website specifically for them www.foureyedpride.com. I bought mine in 88 w/ 15000 miles on it and still have it

See thread by Fordboy Rhead meeting 2:00 Monday.Fordboy is very well versed with what's going on in Rhead,he's Alan from News 12 LI talks show,very dedicated and straight shooter no bs.Are you also on North Shore site,Try to rattle their cages if you know them.Most of the folks here are believers in the cause and go the extra mile.

Yes I'm on the north shore site too,and yes i've been a little down on the whole deal with the track. I do hope it goes throughbecause my car has been in the garage since LID closed. Supershafts has been jumping on my case on the NSSW site and i'm not trying to disrepect him in any way. My father,brother and myself have been customers of his for years. I'm just getting aggrivated w/ the politicians jerking us around by saying racers and atv riders need a place to go so we're not on the streets or private land, then in the next breath shoot down any proposal of getting a place for us.
