Al passed away yesterday he was with the original group who started Westhampton drags when it was dirt and used a flagman and a spotter at the top end.

Sorry to here about Al's passing, he represents a part of the history I'm hoping we can restore. Shame he wount be around to see it happen. There are a lot of the old timers still around all a bit pissed off that what they started was taken away. I've talke to many over the years going around to the shows and cruise nights. They all have great stories and all feel cheated by the loss of all the tracks. Those were the days I seek to bring back.
