Yeah, there's a lot of that. But a lot of people also use it for shooting out short messages or updates about what's going on.

I'm into Google Android (an operating system for cell phones), so I follow a lot of Android related news on Twitter. Most of the Android blogs automatically post new stuff on Twitter so it's easy to keep an eye on what's going on. I also follow a lot of the pro drag racers (Cory Mac, Shoe Racing, Greg Anderson), plus the NHRA feed and Phil Burgess (NHRA editor). On Sundays they write what's going on as it happens so I know the results as soon as they happen.

I use facebook. It is a great tool for getting into contact with people you have lost touch with. For me I have reconnected with relatives in Italy and my roomate from college who is in the philipines after 22 years. It has it's purpose. I do not write about everything that runs through my head or what I am doing.
