RIVERHEAD RESORTS UPS BID TO $125M. Riverhead Resorts Llc, the group that is proposing a massive family resort in Calverton that includes an indoor ski mountain and a large, man-made lake, has again raised its bid for 755 acres of town-owned land - from $110 million to $125million - according to Morton Weber, lead partner with the Weber Law Group in Melville.

What a bunch of fuking morons. It's all about the MONEY. The riverhead town board hasn't a clue on what a diservice to the public they are commiting. fuk what the people want and what would be good for long island. I can't wait till this idea is a huge fuking financial failure i'll be there front and center laughing my fuking ass off.

This has to be the biggest test if the board is truly serious about benifiting the future of Long Island. How can this project be a viable long term solution. I see the novelty of lake wearing thin early on since if you want real boating you go to the sound or the ocean. Hello where did every one miss island on the words long island. How many people are going to go ski on a bunny slope. Agian in the beginning it will be big but as time goes on it will fade. But hey what do I know, I have lived on the island for alll of my 41 years. In the end it is quite scarry that this is even being entertained at all. Wait i forgot it is about the money.

Regardless of the local shylocks representing this Rhead LLc.aren't these investors foreigners.Does America need to allow more of it's resources to be pillaged?This country is failing because of all the little bits and peices of our economy being controlled by outside interest.The saudis control about 8% of our economony and this is how it was done,peice by peice.One royal family who doesn't support America but in their case terrorism.What ever the outcome all should demand American interests only.BUILD AMERICAN WITH AMERICAN INVESTMENT.

If I was RexCorp, I'd go back to the original plan of 80,000 seats and drop the offer to 90mil. I bet they jump on the 10,000 seat 100mil deal. I hear things......

1) Top Gun has never bailed on us.... take my word for it! They are right there every step of the way.

2) I think you will be happy with what the news papers are about to print about Calverton. Not sure what papers it will be or what day it will appear. But look in the papers all next week.

3) Sky Mountain will never happen....also will be in the news over the next few days.

4) As for me being on News 12 with Mike coreman (coleman) whatever, I feel he keeps putting me off, maybe it is news 12 itself telling him not to do it.
Perhaps after the news papers print their stories next week he he may reconsider....
