I was flipping around the tube on Thursday and I happen to come across Hard Shine on TLC at 10pm. Anybody catch it? It has Jimmy Shine from So-Cal working with 5 interns building cars and working for a paid shop position. I’ve seen shows with Jimmy in the past and he seamed to be a bit of a jerk, but talented car builder. This show he was actually kinda cool. He was showing patience and actually teaching these guy’s and girl some good stuff.

Plus the cars they build are awesome. Real hot rods, way better then any Boydster out there. I’ve wanted a 32 three window coupe for some time now, of course it has to be piss yellow.

I’m a little disappointed with my tivo, it should have known to record this for me.

I didn't see that one... but I saw "Blow it up" on Speed with Clay Millican. Anybody see that?

They had 2 different shops build cars, then Clay tried to make 'em blow up. They set out to make 20 laps down the strip back to back without shutting off. One of 'em he held for 25 seconds during it's burnout. Finally one had an ignition problem after something like the 12 pass, the other gave up a few later.

Pretty cool show, I hope they keep it. They had another one before it - "Name That Test & Tune" where contestants had to guess what the car was gonna run. Pretty damn stupid, if you ask me.
