Anyone watch pinks all out enough to know how many times they chose 9, 10 or 11 sec cars for the final 32/16????

From what i read in the forums about this, it sounds like a crap shoot!!!

Any thoughts/suggestions???

Dan,

They pick the closest vehicles that they feel will give them the best show.

I've attended two Pinks All Out Events at Etown and Zmax in North Carolina.

They changed the format at Zmax which is now their format.

You make two runs.

The first run sets your ET.

The second run they pair you up with a similar ET car.
Just prior to Rich's arm drop they flash a floating ET number that you have to run faster or you are eliminated.

After all the second runs are completed they pick the group of the closest vehicles.

Somethings I have observed are:

Do not sandbag or you will be banned for life. They place people down track to see if the nose of your car drops.

Do not use antifreeze. You will be banned for life.

If blow your motor pull to the side. Do not oil down the track.

Watch Rich's shoulders not his arms. If you watch his arms drop you will be caught sleeping at the line.

If you need any help with your car let me know. Be happy to lend a hand.

Good luck and have fun.

Mike

I did see the one where the guy blew up on the line, spilling antifreeze and played dumb, but never seem to see where they talk times. I also noticed between Pinks and PAO, Rich needs to be more consistent or is this the best way to keep the racers on their toes??? Also, I may take you up on that offer, will let you know.
